Frame by Frame

So I didn’t really understand how to go about this project, I started using charcoal and sketchbook paper to capture my sister slumping

After a couple hours of drawing her movements, I started to lose my mind and decided to move this project onto a canvas. I’m not sure if that was like allowed but I wanted to make something that I could be proud of. So this is the link to the video on YouTube.

And here are some close ups of the details

  1. Angie– I’m really proud of this weeks work, you pushed the prompt and made it your own! Sometimes out of frustration and doubt comes focus and clarity. I love seeing the verity of mark making with the two, you go from drawing with charcoal (really great line work btw) to paint. In seeing these renditions against your first online assignment I see a lot of refinement, attention to detail, and good energy. It looks like you enjoyed the prompt, I’m eager to see how you approach this weeks work! Make the frustration that you’re talking about, work as fuel. Keep it up!
